Family Programs (on grounds)
Advance reservations can be made by calling (714) 647-6562 and are required for all Family Adventure Programs.
A variety of natural science workshops are offered to the public on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. All sessions are geared to a variety of ages and provide an exciting opportunity to learn about animals and nature firsthand.
Breakfast with the Beasts includes a light continental breakfast and feeding the farm animals their breakfast.
Animal Handling offers an exposure to small mammals, reptiles, amphibians an invertebrates found both locally and in other areas of the world.
Twilight Tour is an evening program including a guided flashlight tour of the Zoo as well as meeting some "neighborly" nocturnal animals.
Night Safari Programs are offered during the summer months of July and August. The program includes a barbeque hot dog dinner, nocturnal animal presentation and a flashlight tour of the Zoo.
