Scout Programs (on grounds) Advance reservations are required for all Scout programs. Reservations can be made by calling (714) 647-6562 Our Scout Patch Program is a 2 ½ hour program fashioned after the requirements for various environmental science badges for both Brownie and Cub Scouts. Programs are mainly offered on select Saturday afternoons and include an animal presentation, Zoo activity, notebook and embroidered patch. Fee for the program is $8 per scout and $6 per adult, and includes Zoo admission. The Night Safari program offers an evening view of the Zoo. The program includes a hot dog dinner, nocturnal animal presentation, flashlight tour of the Zoo, an embroidered patch and a pass to return to the Zoo another day. Fee is $15 per person. Program runs on select Friday nights from 7 - 10pm.
