The goats have moved into their renovated yard! Come visit our “kids” in their newly renovated interaction yard.
Guests can meet the goats and watch them explore the new space, including the elevated goat trail!
Interacting with farm animals is a long tradition in the farm area of the Santa Ana Zoo. Over the years goats, sheep, miniature donkeys, horses and cows have welcomed guests to make new friends and sparked a deep love of animals.
In 2023, the goat yard underwent a large renovation, expanding the square footage of the animal habitat, adding an elevated trail built just for goats, new shade trees, and a new water collection system right next door.
New graphic signage teaches guests of all ages about goat adaptations including their eyes, ears, teeth, coat and digestive system. Starting in 2024, zoo guests will be able to walk into the yard for the first time at the Zoo!
The Goat Interaction Yard is located in the Crean Family Farm area of the zoo and is open regular zoo hours.
