- Admission to the zoo is complimentary with your your tax preparation appointment. Confirmation of your appointment must be provided at zoo entrance.
- Tax preparation services are free to qualifying individuals.
Do I qualify?
Free VITA tax preparation services are available for:
- those who generally make less than $67,000 (however, if you have a simple income form to report, we can still help you despite being over income)
- persons with disabilities
- the elderly
- limited English speakers
How do I make an appointment?
You must book your tax appointment ahead of time.

Appointment requirements
- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment
- Anyone arriving late by 15 minutes or more will be canceled
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
- For married filing joint, both spouses must be present
- Government issued photo identification for you and your spouse (if married) (cannot be expired)
- Original Social Security Cards or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) / cards for yourself, your spouse, and your dependents
- Birth dates for you, spouse, and/or dependents
- All forms W-2 and 1099, and information for other income
- Health insurance statements: Forms 1095-A, B or C (ACA Statements)
- Information for all deductions (including charitable contributions)/credits
- Total paid to daycare provider and their tax ID number
- For direct deposit of refund, proof of account and bank’s routing number
- A copy of last year's tax return (optional)
- For prior year returns, copies of income transcripts from IRS (and state, if applicable)

Notice 1444-C, Your 2021 Economic Impact Payment (Stimulus, if applicable)
Letter 6419 (en-sp) - 2021 Advance Child Tax Credit Payments (if applicable)
