Self-guided visits

Explore the zoo with your educational group at you own pace.

There are no programming elements or instructors included with self-guided visits.

• Open to groups such as schools and community organizations.
• Requires a minimum of 10 paying group members to book.
• Effective 4/1/2025, Fridays are unavailable until June, 2025.
• Cost through 6/30/2025:
  • $11 per adult
  • $8 per child (ages 3-12)
  • $8 per senior (ages 60+)
  • Children age 2 or younger are free
• Cost effective 7/1/2025:
  • $12 per adult
  • $9 per child (ages 3-12)
  • $9 per senior (ages 60+)
  • Children age 2 or younger are free
• Payment must be made in one (1) transaction.
• Memberships and passes cannot be used towards group admission or education programs.
• Available:
  • Summer: Monday through Friday
  • October 1 to June 1: Monday and Wednesday only. Fridays are unavailable until June 2025.

We recommend you start the process to reserve your self-guided visit at least two weeks in advance.

2. Request a self-guided visit reservation
3. We will email you the estimated cost of your Self-Guided Visit
4. We will contact you to finalize your reservation

Your reservation is not finalized until you receive your reservation confirmation packet via email.
