Santa Ana Zoo will be closed all day on December 25th, 2024.

Zoo rides run Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Project WILD

International and national wildlife education program. Professional development for teachers and wildlife educators. Curriculum guides available.

Project WILD is a wildlife-based conservation and environmental education program that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. Project WILD activity guides provide curriculum specially designed for educators of kindergarten through high school youth. Professional development training and educational materials are available through workshop participation.

Workshops can take place at the Santa Ana Zoo or a site near you. Contact us to learn more.

Bring your students to the zoo

A live animal spotlight presentation followed by a self-guided exploration. Students interact with education volunteers to learn more about the animals and habitats.

Open to school and community groups of all ages. Minimum of 10 people for booking.

  • Memberships and passes cannot be used towards group admission or education programs.
