Volunteer at the Zoo
Volunteers are welcome as individuals, in groups, and for special events.
Individual volunteers
- Long-term and short-term positions available
- Students welcome
- Work side by side with Education and Animal Care staff
- Serve as Zoo Ambassadors, Monitors for farm and aviaries, and Zoo greeters
Group volunteers
- Special events: service groups can help make our special events extra special with preparation and running stations
- Small groups: community organizations working towards skill building
- Corporate groups: service day opportunities
